Puppies!
Irish setter puppies are hard to be managed if you don't establish the right relationship with them.
Remember to DON'T let this puppies to jump on you. This could be a funny behavior when they are small, but it can turn into a real danger once they get adults and reach almost 30 Kilos of weight. Imagine them jumping on an aged person or a little child.
Never let one of this puppy jump on you or others.
You can only stopp him/her while he/she is jumping on you, if you do this while he/she jumps over other people, he/she will not completelly understand what's going on and why.
You should ask other people to be strong enough in order to educate your Irish Setter, otherwise he/she will respect just you and no other people. There's no need to be rude, just connect your reactions (natural reaction are ok) with his/her behavior.
Just be coherent. Don't react in two different ways to the very same behavior unles you know for sure that secondary element (like location or activity eg. running) can be repeated over the time and give your Setter coherent indications about his/her behavior.
Sometimes you will find yourself desperate for you Irish Setter, just hold on being coherent, give him/her time and don't be rude. They become actually adult at the age of 3 years, all before this is a puppy behavior and i'ts ok.
Remember also that Irish Setters are hunting dogs, the most of them are normal hunting dogs with equilibrated behavior, but a few of them can carry a 99% attention to hunting and 1% to all the rest. This 1% includes eating, drinking, do her/his things at dog park and YOU.
